Our Teams

Training and Education

Our team focuses on the globalisation of HEARglobe through the provision of accessible education regarding hearing health and audiological services in communities, and countries where this information is limited. This entails building this website, creating training modules, conducting interviews and much more. Our goal is to supplement hearing health awareness, whilst also providing a platform to bring hearing professionals and the community together.

Engagement and Advocacy

The purpose of our group is to raise awareness of ear health and role of audiologists to the wider community. Our focus is to promote ear health and the services available on World Hearing Day which is celebrated on 3rd March. Our target audience would primarily be university students and various events would be run at university throughout the day. In addition to this, we would be running fundraising events to give back to the hearing community and help those who are hard of hearing, as well as supporting audiology students as they explore global clinics.

Research and Sustainability

Our research is centred around the theme of environmental sustainability in audiology and how environmental sustainability can be incorporated into the clinic without compromising safety and hygiene. We aim to use this project as a platform to educate our readers about what they can do to practice sustainability in their own lives, such as recycling batteries, donating old hearing aids and much more!
